A holiday home on River View’s premier plot

A rare chance to own a holiday home on The Heights, River View’s premier elevated plot. It has uninterrupted views across rolling parkland to The Bowes Museum.

A vaulted, beamed ceiling and full-height glazing fill the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with light. The lounge has a freestanding three-seater pull-out sofa bed, two armchairs, a footstool and a feature electric fire. Sliding patio doors open straight onto the wraparound deck.

The kitchen has a gas hob, built-in oven, integrated microwave, fridge freezer and an integrated washing machine. There’s a Velux skylight overhead and a dining table for four.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a dressing table and an en-suite with a full-size bath and shower over. The twin room has two 3ft single beds and a Jack and Jill door through to the main shower room, which has its own Velux roof window.

River View is a five-star, owners-only park with no holiday lets, so it stays quiet and you get to know your neighbours. On site there’s a tavern with live bands, a full gym and a children’s playground.

Central heating and double glazing make it a home for every season. Barnard Castle, The Bowes Museum and riverside walks are all on the doorstep. Plots on The Heights rarely come up, so early viewing is recommended.
